Holy Rosary School is West Seattle’s oldest Catholic school. Since 1913, we have been schooling the children of Holy Rosary Parish in a tradition of academic excellence and in the values espoused in the teachings of Jesus Christ. From support within our community, we strive to make a Catholic education affordable to all.

To Parents & Families

Keep abreast of events in the school by visiting the homepage. Each Thursday, the school publishes the FCE (Family Communications Envelope) Family Letter on the school homepage. We have a school mailing list you can sign up on to get an email once the homepage is updated with the latest news. For the more technologically inclined, you can subscribe to our RSS feed.

You will want to visit the Classes page to keep track of your children’s academic work, homework and other class activities. You can also find more academic activities by exploring the Student Life section of this website. Parents of 5th Graders and higher grades should be signed up to log in to Powerschool to keep abreast of their children’s academic progress.

You can find most school forms in the Forms & Downloads page and keep track of school activities throughout the school year through the online school calendar (updated regularly).

To Volunteers

Keeping a quality Catholic education affordable is an ongoing challenge. Not only does the success of such an endeavor rest upon the staff and the teachers of Holy Rosary School, it also comes from our volunteers who come from the ranks of parents, families and members of the entire West Seattle Holy Rosary community.

To get involved, please explore the Parent Life & Involvement Section of this website. You will discover that we have four main fundraisers you can volunteer in: WestFest, the Magazine Drive, the Christmas Treelot, and the Auction. If you shop at Safeway or the Metropolitan Market for your groceries, be sure to check out the Passive Fundraisers page for ways that you can help the school without trying!
