Applying to Holy Rosary School
Thank you for your interest in Holy Rosary School! We hope the following information will help you better understand our application process.
School Tours
School tours are available during the following times:
- Thursday, October 2 at 10AM
- Thursday, November 6 at 10AM
- Thursday, December 11 at 10AM
There is limited availability during these touring sessions. Please call 206-937-7255 ext. 219 to reserve your spot.

Admission Documents
The following documents will need to be completed and returned to the main office by Friday, January 30, 2015.
- Holy Rosary School Application (PDF)
- Submit recent report card (1st - 8th Grade)
- Submit most recent standardized test scores (2nd - 8th Grade)
- Application Fee (non-refundable)
Admission Policy
- Kindergarten students must be five years old by August 31 of the year the child would be entering kindergarten in order to qualify for entrance.
- Applications must be received in the school office by Friday, January 30, 2015.
- The applications of students not accepted are placed in a “wait pool”.
- Applicants for admission to Kindergarten (who have successfully completed the Kindergarten Testing administered by the school) will be considered in the following order:
- Siblings of students whose families are active members of Holy Rosary Parish
- Children of active members of Holy Rosary Parish
- Holy Rosary Preschool Students
- Children of practicing Catholic families in another parish. The family must provide a letter from their pastor indicating that they are practicing and are in good standing
- Children of non-Catholic families
For Students Transferring to Holy Rosary
- In order to be considered for admission to Holy Rosary School, students must be in good standing at the school previously attended and provide evidence of their ability to succeed at Holy Rosary School.
- In order to be considered for in-parish tuition parents must provide a letter from their previous parish pastor and school principal stating that they are current in both their sacrificial giving and tuition payments.
- Admission of new students follows the same policy as outlined in item number four (4) of the Application and Registration Policy for Kindergarten above.

The out-of-parish tuition rate is $8,371 per child per year and is equal to the Cost-to-Educate rate. We have rounded monthly fees up to the closest dollar to cover periodic monthly administrative and secretarial costs amounting to between 7 and 87 cents. Fees do not include the annual registration fee.
