Receiving School Communications

Keeping abreast of school events is a must for parents and families who want to be involved with their children’s education. The school attempts to disseminate information through the following channels below.

The School Website

We will be communicating with families entirely through this website www.holyrosaryws.org. For the technically inclined, there is also a parallel and accompanying RSS feed for the newsletter. Every Thursday, a newsletter (eFC or electronic Family Communications) from the school will be posted on our website and will be the primary means of communication from the school to the family. We strongly encourage you to read these communications.

To be kept informed on the publication of the newsletter, please subscribe to the HRS Families Mailing List (see below).

HRSFamilies Mailing List

Holy Rosary School hosts a mailing list that acts as a general notification and reminder service for families with children attending the school.

Each Holy Rosary School family can receive messages from this list at one or more email accounts. Subscribing to this list from a particular email address means you will receive messages at that address.

Put the word Subscribe in the Subject line and include any other email addresses in the body that you would like to have in the subscription list. As this is a private mailing list specifically for Holy Rosary School families, you should also include your affiliation to the school. For example, you may include the names of your children in the body. Subscription requests are usually processed within one day.

We highly encourage you to subscribe so that you can receive our electronic Family Communication (eFC) letter via email. You’ll also receive important updates and last minute notices and details on important school-relevant information.

Twitter Feed

In those rare cases where communication from traditional channels (phone, website, email, etc.) is unavailable, or when certain events require more immediate attention (weather-related closures, emergencies, etc.), the school will also send information through its Twitter feed under the name HolyRosary.
