Student Life
As a Preschool-8 school, rigorous academic study makes up the majority of a typical class day at Holy Rosary School. We weave rigorous academic instruction with Catholic and spiritual values. Education starts but does not end in the classroom. It infuses itself into each student’s and family’s life.
A Well-Rounded Catholic Education
Students are expected to master the 3 R’s as well as the fourth: Religion. Our students are expected to be well-versed in the teachings of Jesus Christ and live those values in our Catholic faith. Holy Rosary School follows the Archdiocese of Seattle’s educational guidelines for parochial schools. Spirituality is a major portion of our academic life.
We strive towards giving our students a well-rounded education. We have specialists in Spanish, in Reading, in Mathematics, Music, Library, Technology, Physical Education, and Art. We also recognize the importance of adapting new technology to give our students an exposure to the latest developments. Our teachers and instructors are required to attend regularly scheduled in-services to ensure that they continue to hone their skills and remain at the cutting edge in current educational developments. We have also dedicated substantial resources to our Library and our Technology Lab to ensure that our student population as well as our faculty are kept abreast with the inexorable advance of technology.

Recognizing that development of the mind and the soul goes hand-in-hand with the development of the body, we also encourage extracurricular activities such as those under the auspices of the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) and others.
