The Holy Rosary Parish Junior High Choir

Sing! The Junior High Choir is for all students in grades 6–8, from Holy Rosary and West Seattle schools (parish registration required). Our young teens lead and support the singing once a month at the Sunday 5PM Mass, helping them to grow into confident music ministers.

Praise! The Junior High Choir is backed by professional musicians, who provide exciting worship and praise music. Student musicians who are able to play along and prepare themselves are also welcome. Rehearsals are before mass at 4pm in the church.

Community Service! 8th Graders can earn significant volunteer hours (20-22) towards their Community Service graduate requirement with regular participation in the Junior High Choir.

Learn About Your Faith! We sing during every liturgical season and at important Parish Holy Days like Christmas Eve, Palm Sunday, and Good Friday. We also celebrate our Catholic faith by singing for Catholic Schools Week and have seasonal fun by caroling at the Holy Rosary School Tree Lot!

Pizza Parties! We celebrate together after mass with pizza parties in October and May!

Rehearsals Junior High Choir rehearsals are one hour before mass at 4PM in the church.
